Peter Drucker proposed a management theory advocating decentralization for optimal performance. When we introduced the Sai Ganga Panakeia’s hub-and-spoke model, emphasizing delegation of authority to polyclinic-level leaders, it was well-received. Previously, our integrative treatment approach earned us the Nelson Mandela Award for enhancing quality of life and reducing healthcare costs globally. The same panel now recognized our hub-and-spoke model, honoring us with the ‘Peter Drucker Excellence Award’ for Healthcare Excellence. This accolade was bestowed in the presence of esteemed individuals including the Lord of Oxford HE Lubna Arshad, the High Sheriff of Oxford , the Seychelles Minister, and other dignitaries from the UK and India, marking a significant achievement in the India-UK business collaboration in the healthcare sector.
